Expert Speaker Training: Dialogue-Based Approach to Giving Presentations
The more interactive the speaker’s session, the more likely participants are to engage, learn, retain, and take positive action on the content. This course teaches expert speakers and key opinion leaders (KOL’s) how to present clinical, procedural, and product information using a Socratic, dialogue-based format.
In addition to standard platform skills, we teach presenters how to move away from a didactic lecture format and use specific questioning and listening skills to engage the audience and guide the conversation.
We work with a variety of audio-visual media and will work with the speaker’s presentation materials to ensure content-specific comfort using the dialogue-based presentation format.
Training can be provided as a 1 - 4 hour segment of brand specific product training or as standalone training event.
Speakers Learn To:
- Bring the data “to life”
- Stimulate dialogue
- Keep discussions timely and on point
- Minimize non-productive conversation and conflict
- Help audience members think through when and how they will appropriately apply the content presented
- Effectively present with PowerPoint and other audiovisual media
